Meggie Rowland, PhD

Licensed Psychologist

Dr. Meggie Rowland is the founder of SoulWise and has been in private practice since 2017. She graduated with her PhD from Louisiana Tech University, an APA accredited program. She is a Licensed Psychologist in Texas, a Think Differently Certified Life Coach, and she specializes in relational trauma and narcissistic abuse. She provides therapy, coaching, and psychological evaluations. Dr. Rowland is honored to partner with clients brave enough to do the work required for true freedom and connection. She has experienced profound changes in her own life through applying principles she teaches her clients and is proud to see her clients step into being new and experience lasting change. She strives to stay present and to live authentically, and she encourages her clients to do the same. She is also privileged to work alongside a fantastic team. She says she has the best job ever!

Dr. Rowland’s therapy caseload is currently full. She is accepting new clients for coaching and psychological evaluations.

Rachel Tamez, LPA

Licensed Psychological Associate with Independent Practice

Rachel Tamez graduated with her Master of Science degree in Clinical Psychology from University of Texas at Tyler, and she earned her license as a Psychological Associate soon after. Rachel is licensed to practice independently and provides clients of all ages and backgrounds with evaluations and counseling services. She has lived in Tyler most of her life. She enjoys taking walks, eating out, playing with her dog, and spending time with her husband and three children.

Wilmarys Mora, LPA

Licensed Psychological Associate with Independent Practice

Wilmarys Mora earned a Master of Science degree in Clinical Psychology, with a specialization in neuropsychology, from the University of Texas at Tyler. As a mental health services provider, she has experience working with clients of all ages, guiding them through various challenges, and conducting assessments for neurocognitive disorders, neurodevelopmental disorders, and learning disorders. Wilmarys is fluent in both English and Spanish, and she is passionately dedicated to her community, actively volunteering at her church and with non-profit organizations dedicated to promoting brain and mental health care.

Kathryn Bell, LCSW-S

Licensed Clinical Social Worker - Supervisor

Kathryn graduated with her Master of Social Work degree from Baylor University and is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker - Supervisor. She specializes in working with children and adults who have experienced trauma but is passionate about helping clients of all ages heal and focus on their strengths. She is trained in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) and TF-CBT (Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy). Kathryn has lived in Tyler most of her life and enjoys spending time with her husband and twins.

Jennifer Sturm, PhD

Provisionally Licensed Psychologist & Licensed School Psychologist

Dr. Jennifer Sturm earned her Ph.D. in School and Health Services Psychology from Stephen F. Austin State University in Nacogdoches, Texas. Additionally, she completed her doctoral internship at SFASU, which was accredited by the American Psychological Association. Dr. Sturm’s passion for supporting others, combined with her background in education, inspired her to pursue her doctoral degree in psychology. She is dedicated to helping clients improve their well-being and navigate life’s challenges. She offers psychological testing services and counseling. Outside of her professional work, Dr. Sturm enjoys reading, baking, spending time with friends and family, and hiking with her husband.

Tracey Galloway, LPC, LSSP

Licensed Professional Counselor & Licensed Specialist in School Psychology

Tracey has over 10 years of experience in counseling and assessment. She specializes in Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT) and family systems with children, adolescents, and adults experiencing symptoms of anxiety/depression due to emotional and behavioral concerns such as ADHD, Autism, and Bipolar Disorder.

Drew Curtis, PhD

Licensed Psychologist

Dr. Drew Curtis is a licensed psychologist and professor at The University of Texas at Tyler. He earned a Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology from Texas Woman’s University. He also completed an APA-accredited doctoral internship at the University of Houston Clear Lake Counseling Center. Dr. Curtis has taught a variety of courses at a few universities for over 18 years, primarily training future therapists. He has published several books and peer-reviewed articles. His work has appeared in major news/media platforms: New York Times, Fox, CNN, CNBC, APA’s Speaking of Psychology, BBC Science Focus, Doctor Radio-Sirius XM, UK Today News, and many others. His research has focused on pathological lying, in which he has a special interest in working with people who struggle with lying. Clinically, Dr. Curtis has worked in private practice and university counseling centers, helping people with a variety of psychological problems. He uses empirically supported treatments (e.g., Cognitive Behavioral Therapy) to help clients of all ages with a variety of psychological issues (e.g., anxiety disorders, major depressive disorder, OCD). Dr. Curtis sees clients of all ages, providing psychological evaluations and counseling/psychotherapy.

Tym’Breonna Smith, BSA

Tym’Breonna is a Tyler native currently pursuing her Master’s Degree in Clinical Psychology at the University of Texas at Tyler, with the goal of becoming a Licensed Psychological Associate (LPA). She is passionate about supporting children and adolescents through both counseling and psychological assessment. Her clinical interests center around working with individuals who have experienced trauma and those navigating challenges related to insecure attachment styles. Outside of her academic and professional pursuits, Tym’Breonna enjoys quality time with her husband, son, and their two French Bulldogs, Blu and Chanel.
